Stay Outside with Hello Luna
Skyflight Productions presents Stay Outside with Hello Luna on Friday February 18, 2022 at The Albert S. George Youth Center at Barnesville Memorial Park in Barnesville, OH. From the moment childhood friends Aaron Becker and Garrett Johnston first came together as Stay Outside in 2016, it was evident that this rock & roll band from the heartland had something special. It wasnt until a few years later, that the Indiana natives caught their first glimpse of the national spotlight. After solidifying their lineup with the addition of drummer Noah Mitchener and releasing their 2019 EP Bottle Rocket, the trio made waves across the country when their self-produced, self-directed music video for All The Way Down landed on the front page of Reddit.
Stay Outsides alternative-leaning tunes are held in place by frontman and lyricist Aaron Beckers hopeful, honest approach to songwriting. While much of their music is more explosive in nature, their latest single Overboard finds the band exploring their surfier side. Since its release, Becker (vocals/guitar), Johnston (guitar), and Mitchener (drums), have kept themselves busy in the studio, working tirelessly on their full-length debut. The forthcoming LP looks to continue the trios sonic evolution, as one of the Midwests best rock outfits shoots for something even more special.
Hello Luna is an alternative rock band from Columbus, Ohio founded in 2016. The band consists of Kenzie Coyne, Michael Neumaier, Eric Morgan and Mitch Ammar Horn. Hello Luna explores the area between aggressive rock and melodic pop. The band combines a contrast of hard and soft elements which elevates their sound and delivers a unique approach to modern rock. After completing their first headlining tour in 2019, the band released their second EP 'Dear Demons'. Their energetic performance has been showcased on stages shared with K.Flay, Maps & Atlases, Sunflower Bean, Holy White Hounds. They receive regular airplay on CD92.9 and have been featured on NPR. The band has plans to drop new music throughout 2021 leading up to the release of their album, which will be released in February 2022.
