INDUCTION
A word about the show from the author:
More and more, the concept of "multiple personalities," has evolved from the notion of a pathological state, to more of an idea of a normal human condition. "Induction" suggests that perhaps the key to getting along with others, rests with our capacity to get along with our SELVES. The play asks the question "What is more dangerous than an incompetent psychologist, armed with the ability to induce hypnotic trances on innocent people?"
CAST:
Clodagh Bartholomew (Irene McNally) Going on just about 15 years of theater experience from being on stage to being in the back, Clodagh has been in many pieces including Final Analysis also written by Nick Hennessy. During the days, she spends her time as a counselor on Mass Ave, but during the nights spends most of her time cheering for all of the Boston sports teams. Her passions include, but are not limited to, browsing TJ Maxx, drinking starbucks coffee and bowling. Dislikes include, watered down espresso, the traffic on route one, and blue ink pens. She is extremely excited to be a part of another Nick Hennessy play.
Robert McKenzie (Psychologist) Robert is a graduate from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and he is very excited to be in his second Lawrence Hennessey production. Robert's own plays have been featured in North Shore Community College's Arts in April Festival and UMass Lowell's Student One Act Play Society. He has been a guest speaker at The Association of Writers & Writing Programs. His previous roles include "John Matherson" in Lawrence Hennessey's "Crippled Inside", CB in "Dog Sees God" and JD in "Conflict of Interest." He enjoys coffee and writing about himself in the third person for bios. Lawrence Hennessey.
Jonathan Day (Martin McNally, Brandon McNally) Jonathan is thrilled to be making his Massachusetts debut with Induction'. Jonathan first appeared on stage in 2018 as Swaino in the Veterans in Performing Arts (VIPA) production of 'Small Engine Repair. His credits include 'Rocky Horror Show Live', 'Baby With the Bathwater', 'A Backwards Fairytale', and 'Crippled Inside'. A resident of Kittery ME, Jonathan is a small business owner, an Air Force Reservist, and serves on three nonprofit boards. In his down time, he can be found wrangling his 7-year-old daughter, or performing karaoke at Daniel Street Tavern in Portsmouth NH. Jonathan would like to thank the cast and crew, the audience for supporting local theatre, and his lovely wife Melissa for her love, patience, and support during this production.
Tiffany Bartholomew Tiffany has been doing theater for about 15 years and is very passionate about the creative challenge of this play, her favorite Lawrence Hennessey piece yet. She has been a crucial part of many Lawrence Hennessy productions since 2018 and is most excited for "Induction." She would choose a tech booth any day if she can't be enjoying a crisp fall morning walk in Dublin Ireland with a cappuccino in hand. She has been waiting for the right piece to cast these three actors in- her "dream" cast.
