The Prince and The Pauper
Join The Lake Washington Players community theater group for our production of The Prince and The Pauper on November 12th and 13th at the Happy Valley Grange in Redmond.
A program of Kirkland's nonprofit music school, KAMP Music, the Lake Washington Players is an all volunteer, donation based group of amateur actors of all ages. We've been doing shows since 2013 and past performances include SCROOGE, Alice- The Rock Musical, Pirates of Penzance and more! We typically do original shows written by Sue Heale and Joshua Sibley of KAMP Music.
Whatever has Prince Edward done? Realizing the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence, he quickly realizes his mistake after switching places with the Pauper, Tom Canty. A drunken father, a timid mother who knows that Edward is not Tom, a brave soldier of the King's Guard-- can anyone get the boys back to their rightful places?
Time is running out after the assassination of King Henry--he's been killed by a carrot! The new King will be crowned this very evening!
Full of laughs and maybe someone you know, this show will be sure to bring a smile to your face. Join us on Friday, November 12th at 7 p.m. or Saturday, November 13th at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. Tickets are just $10 although donations are appreciated if you are so inclined to support our wonderful program.
