Trinity Players Announces an Upcoming Production of Music Theatre Internationals All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre
Performances to take place November 12 - 14, 2021
A fantastic selection of songs is featured in this brand new musical revue from shows including Fiddler on the Roof to Ragtime to Rent to Jekyll and Hyde to Junie B. Jones, to Waitress, and many other acclaimed Broadway musical hits!
Waynesboro, PA After nearly two years, Trinity Players, of Trinity United Church of Christ, 30 West North Street, will be singing and dancing their way across the stage. They are joining thousands of theatrical organizations around the globe by producing their own local production of Music Theatre Internationals All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre. Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) created this revue for theatres across the globe to use as a local fundraising event performed over the same weekend of November 12, 2021. Trinity Players performances are scheduled for Friday, November 12 at 7:00 P.M., Saturday, November 13 at 7:00 P.M., and Sunday, November 14 at 2:00 P.M.
All Together Now! features songs from MTIs beloved catalog of musicals including Annie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Come From Away, Disney and Cameron Mackintoshs Mary Poppins, Disneys Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Guys and Dolls, Hairspray, Into the Woods, Les Misérables, Little Shop of Horrors, Mamma Mia!, Matilda, My Fair Lady, Once on This Island, Rent, Waitress and many more!
MTIs President and CEO, Drew Cohen stated, MTIs All Together Now! is about bringing people back to the theatre, whether as audience members or cast, crew, and musicians. The revue features songs from the worlds most iconic musicals, so there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. Our goal with this worldwide event is for organizations to provide hope, inspiration, and excitement to their communities through the transformative power of musical theatre.
Trinitys show is directed by Gillian Austin and Deb Hollen, who are both thrilled and humbled to bring live theater back to the area. The cast includes Kristen Adams, Garrett Austin, Gillian Austin, Kaelin Bowie, Violette Conklin, Deb Danner, Eve Dickey, Tim Diehl, Will Emory, Emma Hamilton, Maggie Haynes, Carol Mowen, Ben Smith, Randy Stull, Donovan Yaukey, and Kay Yaukey. The pit includes pianist, Valerie Merriman, bassist, John Lanehart, and percussionist, Andrew Mowen.
The performances of this show are doubly special because the proceeds will go to the building of the H. Clayton and Polly Moyer Welcome Center, which will begin construction in March 2022. Reverend Moyer was the founder of Trinity Players nearly 70 years ago, and the Players, as well as, the community are profoundly grateful.
Tickets go on sale on November 1 and are $10 for General Admission. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door one hour before each performance. Covid mitigation requirements are in place, and all audience members must wear a mask.
