Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Mass in C" is the cornerstone of this concert. Wagner said, "I believe in God, Mozart, and Beethoven." Rossini wrote, "Beethoven I take twice a week, Haydn four times, and Mozart every day." Tchaikovsky exclaimed, "Mozart is the highest, the culminated point that beauty has attained in the sphere of music." The beautiful "Mass in C" is known for its lovely melodies, and is nicknamed the "Sparrow Mass" for its unique motives. SDG will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra.
