Laudami Ensemble
Enjoy the weekend with a memorable performance given by the Laudami Ensemble. Featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach and his most famous son, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, this concert will showcase stirring virtuosity and rich counterpoint from the chamber music canon. As we approach the 300th birthday of CPE Bach, this concert is the perfect occasion to celebrate music from this pioneering composer.
The Laudami Ensemble consists of young musicians David Ross on flute, violinist Laura Rubinstein-Salzedo, and harpsichordist Michael Peterson. As period instrument specialists, they are dedicated to giving lively interpretations of music from the Baroque era. The performers are currently finishing their studies at the Juilliard School and at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
