Bach Cantata Series: Cantata No. 131, "Aus der Tiefen rufe ich, Herr, zu dir"
Kairos: A Consort of Singers will present the first in its Fall 2021 Bach Cantata Series with a performance of Bach's Cantata No. 131, "Aus der Tiefen rufe ich, Herr, zu dir", with chamber orchestra. The concert will also feature several hymns and motets, and an instrumental work by the Baroque master. The music will be performed in the context of an evensong service, and the service is free and open to the public.
Reservations are required for this service as there is a 50-audience member limit in the Monastery Chapel. Proof of vaccination is required upon arrival at the venue, and masks must be worn for the entirety of your visit.
There is a $20 suggested donation to help support the Bach Cantata Series, which is funded entirely through the generosity of our audience.
