Bluebirds
BLUEBIRDS is written by Vern Thiessen, directed by Sarah Glubish, and stars Andrea Greening, Martina Laird-Westib and Glynna MacKenzie.
BLUEBIRDS is a moving, poetic tribute from Governor Generals Award-winning playwright, Vern Thiessen that brings to light the stories of three Canadian nurses who crossed oceans to take care of others in the war. Bonding over their duties and patients, the nurses keep up a positive atmosphere, even as the front line draws closer to their hospital.
BLUEBIRDS will play for small masked audiences at The Military Museums, Cooper-Key Hall, 4520 Crowchild Trail SW, Calgary at 8 pm on Nov 5, 6, 9, 10, 12 and 13. Tickets are $15. Currently serving Members and retired Veterans may enjoy the show for free on Nov 10th by reserving a complimentary ticket.
Presented by Night Ducks.
The Military Museums is following the Provinces direction with regard to the Restrictions Exemption Program. As of October 25th, two doses (full immunization), will be required for entry. See accessibility section for more details.
