Haunted Circus: Featuring Aloft's "Grave Space"
The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts Haunted Circus is back with limited seating for one night only!
Timed entrances include small groups of audience members walking through a pre-show of PSCAs Youth & Adult students performing spooky ambient circus skills; fire breathing, aerials, juggling, dance, and tumbling.
All audience members will be led into the sanctuary for more amazing aerial performance followed by our headline performance of Aloft Circus Arts; "Grave Space" at 7:30pm.
Aloft Circus Arts; "Grave Space" is the building of a blanket fort, sneaking under a hoopskirt, an impulsive congregation in the tiniest of tents. Starting as a puddle of fabric on the floor, it grows to encompass a world of wondrous circus. Intimate and low tech, we invite the audience to sit together with an all-female cast of bold acrobats to build the world we want to live in, even for only a few shared moments. Inspired by the idea of creating community in divisive times, and designed to be able to pop-up almost anywhere, Grave Space includes juggling, cyr wheel, duo trapeze, a rope act like no other, and awe-inspiring feats of balance and strength. Grave Space requires 100% trust between the performers and the audience as together we physically construct the show and keep the artists aloft.
This is a one-time only, spooky adaptation of Aloft's hit show "Brave Space" that you will not want to miss!
Timed-Entrance for ambient performance: 6:15pm, 6:30pm, 6:45pm, 7:00pm, 7:15pm

HEALTH & SAFETY
Haunted Circus 2021 takes place in-person and indoors with a max capacity of 70 audience members. All performers are vaccinated, rapid tested before the show, and will perform unmasked. To help protect the health and safety of audiences, artists, staff, and our greater community, patrons are required to wear masks and will be required to show proof of vaccination. Audience members will be asked to show proof of vaccination at the box office before entering the building. Accepted forms for proof of vaccination include a physical vaccine card with your name on it or a digital photo of your vaccine card on a cell phone.
If you are feeling unwell, experiencing any COVID-related symptoms, or come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19 up to 14 days before a performance, please stay home.
These guidelines may evolve depending on local health and safety recommendations.
