The Program
THE PROGRAM was originally set to debut on stage in the Spring of 2020. Due to Covid-19, it was re imagined as a virtual play and premiered in the Fall of 2020. The 3-week run was extremely successful; a true immersive play where EVERYONE was part of the show! Perhaps the highest praise came from many audience members who were convinced no one in the production was an actor!
Designed as a 360-degree, interactive experience, placing audience members and actors alike at a meeting of a 12-step group for people recovering from white supremacy. As the cast share the experiences of their characters, members of the audience will likewise be invited to take part in the meeting and find a path to recovery for themselves and their community. Let this performance become a safe meeting place, where we may bravely address systemic racism and find solutions in the struggle for justice, equality, and even our own humanity.
To keep the atmosphere as intimate as possible, the number of audience members at each performance will be limited.
Featuring: Nicole Marie Hunt, Kae Fujisawa, Peter Sansbury, Linnea Scott, Meagan Moses & Ray K. Soeun.
Director: Pink Flowers, Scenic Design & Costumes: Deb O, Lighting Design: Christopher Studley, Production Manager: Andrea Chrem, Producer: Christopher Hammett.
