"THE JEWELRY BOX" AT MOREAU CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL
Brian Copeland's brand new, critically acclaimed solo Christmas play leaves it's San Francisco run for a special, exclusive one night performance at his Alma Mater, Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward California.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Moreau Catholic High School Drama department.
A prequel to his first smash, "NOT A GENUINE BLACK MAN", "THE JEWELRY BOX" is a holiday memoir that follows 6 year old Brian in December of 1970 as he tries to earn $11.97 by Christmas Eve to buy him mother a jewelry box from the White Front Store in East Oakland.
The family friendly holiday show is a story of will and determination culminating in a young boy's understanding of the true meaning of Christmas. As with all Brian Copeland plays, "THE JEWELRY BOX" blends hilarity and pathos into a sobering and satisfying finish.
