CRIS WILLIAMSON - HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
I wanted to do something cozy, something home style and home spun for the upcoming Holidays. I was traveling on the Victoria Clipper, heading up for a concert there, and it turned out there were angels on the Clipper. They mentioned this house in the Mt. Baker area that was home to some concerts and had a very grand piano I would love. I was intrigued. The more I thought about it, the more I could envision how the intimacy of such a venue might appeal to all of us who are looking for a special Holiday experience, something that calls up the warmth of Home. I've noticed how glad we all are to see each other whenever I do these Holiday shows. All we need to do is come together and the rest happens just like a holiday miracle.
Sowe made it happen, all of us, setting the date and the stage for a show in this beautiful home on Friday, December 13. I think it'll be beautiful. I'll be playing songs about the Holidays and I'll also be showcasing songs from my new cd, Pray,Tell. So, come Home for the Holidays, have some hot cider and cookies and let's share this unique and rare occasion together. Tell your friends, come one, come all, let's fill up the house, and fill up our souls. See you there!
