Michigan Irish Repertory Theatre Returns
The Michigan Irish Repertory Theatre is excited to be back on stage. Thanks to our alliance with The Cork Arts Theatre, we are able to bring Michigan audiences a brand new one-act play, "Mam and Me," that made its world premiere in August 2021. But before we sit down and see the latest play from Cork, we will enjoy a short set of Irish storytelling from MIRT Artistic Director and Mind The Gap Theatre Founder Adrian Diffey to put us in the mood and make us feel like we are sitting on the banks of The River Lee in Cork.
For the health, safety and well-being of our patrons, staff and artists, Theatre NOVA's current COVID-19 policy requires guests to be vaccinated and wear a mask while in the building. All attendees should bring their vaccination cards and photo IDs. Upon arrival and prior to entering the building, all guests must present a photo ID along with proof that they meet the CDC definition of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, either in the form of a physical vaccination card or a photo of the card.
All artists and staff are fully vaccinated. All personnel not on stage are required to wear a mask inside the building at all times.
All actors who are unmasked during the show will take a quick-response Covid test once a week. All patrons are required to be fully vaccinated. Please bring you vaccination card or a photo or scan of it.
All patrons are required to wear a mask inside the building. Surgical masks will be available at the door for $1.
Two bathrooms (one upstairs) will be available for patrons.
High touch surfaces are wiped down after every performance. Unvaccinated patrons will not be admitted. According to Actors Equity guidelines, a ventilation audit is performance once a year.
Tickets will be sold at 50% capacity to allow for social distancing between parties. We will not be selling concessions.
This policy is subject to change at any time, in accordance with fluctuating local, state, and federal guidelines. Please check back for our current policy before your scheduled performance date.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE THEATRE IF YOU ARE SICK. Although there are no refunds on ticket purchases, if you need to exchange your tickets or transfer them to someone else, you may email a2theatrenova@gmail.com to do so and we will happily make those changes for you if tickets are available and if you have given at least two hours notice prior to your scheduled date and time.
Opening night will also include Irish comestibles for our patrons.
Not recommended for patrons under the age of 14.
