In partnership with the Chicago Park District, Fury Theatre presents its first "Behind the Curtain" presentation of J.R. Pierce's one act adaptation of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya.

This adaptation borrows four of the central characters from Chekhov's original, taking an intimate look at the obstacles between themselves and what they most desire. Losing none of Chekhov's tragicomic scenarios and benefitting from the strong adaptative writing of Mr. Pierce, the 25 seat limited audience is treated to all the action up close as both stage and seats are arranged on Chase Park's proscenium theater.
