CaRMaH Feline Film Festival with guest host Dale LePage
CaRMaH Feline Film Festival, a fundraiser in celebration of 11 years of the Cat Rescue of Marlborough and Hudson, will be held at the historic Clinton Strand Theatre on Sunday, January 19, 2014, and will feature videos, stories and poems about our feline friends, as well as auctions and raffles, featuring celebrity guest emcee, the 3-time Central Massachusetts Entertainer of the Year award winner Dale LePage. LePage will also perform a short set with renowned guitarist Joe D'Angelo at the event. The Strand concession stand will be open to serve movie staples as well as some of their signature dishes. All proceeds from the event will support the CaRMaH's TNR and foster network programs.
The Feline Film Festival runs from 1-3:30 p.m. at the Clinton Strand Theatre. The nonprofit rescue's first large-scale fundraiser, the festival will include a screening of videos submitted by area pet owners as well as videos of YouTube feline stars like Maru and Henri. The event will also feature cat-themed poetry, stories, and merchandise, as well as auctions and raffles. Tickets are $10 and available at Brown Paper Tickets and, if space allows, at the door the day of the event.
