Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenanny
Celebrate the holidays with music Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenanny at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby in downtown Everett, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
From traditional carols to contemporary country holiday favorites, the show's entertaining lineup offers Christmas cheer for all ages.
Santa will also make a special appearance at the show and will be available in the lobby for photos. Before the show and at intermission, audience members can bid on delicious holiday desserts, handcrafted by Red Curtain volunteers, in a fundraising silent auction.
Arlington singer/songwriter Jesse Taylor will make a solo acoustic appearance onstage, covering some holiday favorites as well as a few of his own compositions.
The well-known Patty & The Travelin' 4 bring some western swing to the stage in a fun and danceable set of holiday music.
The Hometown Band completes the evening's set list with classic and contemporary holiday songs with a country twang, including "Meet Me Under the Mistletoe," "Santa Claus Boogie" and "Let It Be Christmas." Guest vocalist Katie Hoag adds some magic with "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and an inspiring country-folk version of "Go Tell It On the Mountain."
Tickets for the Dec. 14 show are $17 for adults, $14 for seniors/students/military, and only $5 for kids 12 and under. Purchase tickets online at brownpapertickets.com or by calling the Everett Theatre at (425) 258-6766. The box office opens at 6:30 the day of the show.
