Circo Seguro
This December, ten circus artists from Seattle, San Francisco and Boulder traveled to Guatemala to teach trapeze, juggling, music and acrobatics to children whose families live and work on the city garbage dump.
Our fundraising party, "Circo Seguro" opens with a viewing of "Recyled Life," a documentary about the population we worked with, followed by a slide show of our own trip. We will tell stories about the wonderful children we met, as well as about the amazing organization we partnered with , Camino Seguro, which serves these families all year. Children are encouraged to attend, and will have the opportunity to participate in some of the songs and circus activities we taught the children in Guatemala. Circo Seguro promises to be a very warm, educational and inspirational evening.
