SUOCERA
Suocera (Italian for mother-in-law) examines the interwoven animosity and buried sexual attraction between seemingly polar opposites, a savvy but intellectually isolated Midwestern woman and her sharp-tongued, unemployed son-in-law from back east. Over a single summer evening, two adversaries must seek the cold comfort of one another's company. Suocera uncovers the rivalries and lethal dangers in a too seldom explored family dynamic.
