Camarillo Tales: Echoes in the Hills
"Camarillo Tales: Echoes in the Hills" is a collection of short plays written and performed by the students of Cal State Channel Islands inspired by the history and lore of the land CSUCI sits upon. The evening of plays includes stories about Camarillo State Mental Hospital, the Chumash, campus myths such as the "Scary Dairy," and more.
The production is co-directed by theatre professors Hugo Carbajal and Laura Covault. Students wrote the play under the guidance of playwright Marisela Orta.
All audience members will be required to wear a mask at all times.
All tickets must be purchased in advance.
Length of show: Approx. 90 mins
Recommended for 6th grade and up (adult themes, language).
Tickets: $15-General, $10 Faculty, $5 Non CSUCI Students, CSUCI Students Free. Reserve ticket online at $0.00.
Parking is $6.00 and can be purchased at ticket dispenser in parking lot across from library on Camarillo Street (follow signs). You must purchase a parking pass or you will get a ticket.
