Stephanie Schneiderman Album Release Concert
Stephanie Schneiderman is set to release her first solo album in 9 years. To celebrate, the Portland album release party, will be livestreamed on Facebook Live, Saturday, October 16th at 7:00pm from the gorgeous and spacious confines of Portlands brand-new Tree Farm Building, located in the Industrial District of Inner SE, overlooking the Morrison Bridge.
This is a live stream concert but will be open to a limited amount of in-person tickets.
The new recording combines her past sonic explorationsfolk, americana, trip hop, and popinto a beautifully dark and deeply introspective recording that is as lush as it is intimate. Funded before and during the pandemic, through pre-purchases and house concerts, Crossfire is a self-released labor of love that celebrates her community, maiden voyage as self-producer, and is possibly her most compelling collection of songs to date.
The concert will feature songs from the album with special guests Tony Furtado on his many stringed instruments including baritone uke, banjo and slide guitar as well as Dave Jorgensen on keys and harmonium.
