Bread and Puppet Theater

Founded by Peter and Elka Schumann in New Yorks Lower East Side in 1963, Bread and Puppet is one of the oldest, non-profit, political theatres in the United States. The Bread and Puppet troupe will be in residence at Dickinson 5 days and will be working with a group of our students to present the companys circus style performance on two afternoons at the Dickinson College Farm. The Colleges Arts Award will be presented to the company on the afternoon of the second performance.

There will be buses at the Anita Tuvin Schlecter Parking lot (behind the Theatre and Dance building)

Saturday, October 23rd
3:00p: start loading at ATS parking lot
3:30p: departs for the farm
7:30p: 1st bus leaves farm for campus post reception
8:00p: 2nd bus leaves farm for campus post reception

Sunday, October 24th
3:00p: start loading at ATS parking lot
3:30p: departs for the farm
5:45p (aprox): bus leaves farm for campus post performance
