CALABRESE the BLACKJACKITS 13 WOLVES CONVALESCENTS ZOMBIE BARBIE $8 IN ADVANCE / $10 DAY OF SHOW DOORS: 8 PM / SHOW: 9 PM
CALABRESE has been headlining the top venues, clubs and festivals of the world for years. This road-tour polished band hails from Phoenix, three brothers whose love of comics, dark movies, and music led to becoming professional musicians. Their recordings and compilations number in the dozens. Their musical influences include The Misfits, Black Flag, Black Sabbath, White Zombie, Samhain, The Damned, Danzig, and Ramones. CALABRESE's songwriting and musicianship allows them to cover the full range of Horror/Death Punk to Rock 'N' Roll.
the BLACKJACKITS: It was in 2007 when the BlackJackits charged into the Southern California music scene! Armed with a unique blend of punk, psychobilly, and dark melodies, the BlackJackits high energy live show immediately set them apart. Formed by Kenny Hill, multi-instrumental commando, after the breakup of Those Rockin' Bullets, first line up was: Kenny Hill-Guitar and Vocals, Vic Yamasaki(Barnyard Ballers)-Slap Bass & Mike Garcia-Drums. Kenny was also playing slap bass in legendary international headliners, The Quakes, from 06-10. During this time the BlackJackits performed as many shows as possible, in between world tours with the Quakes. In 2010, Kyle Olson, aka Kro, joined as slap bass assassin. Kro was also a journeymen of the international circuit, well known for his time in Rezurex, Altar Relics, and formerly endorsed by King Doublebass. In 2011, Manny Lutz, hard hitting drummer formerly of Altar Relics, was recruited to keep the beat on drums. Now with a solid line up, 6 years of writing, recording, and performing under their belt, the BlackJackits are poised to decimate audiences with their hard hitting, melodic, blitzkrieg of sound, one show at a time, on their climb to the top!
13 WOLVES: BRAND NEW NORDIC WEREWOLF HORROR PUNK FROM SAN DIEGO!
CONVALESCENTS: With a new year comes a new start for the band formally known as DB and the Catastrophe. They have spent a good chunk of this winter on their new album Armageddon, have done a tour through the southwest and into Cali to play with The Ataris, and a new identity as the band is now called "Convalescents".
ZOMBIE BARBIE: Electro Goth Pop in the vein of Crystal Castles, John Maus, Neon Indian, The Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, etc.
