Twilight Drive-In at the Olympic Park: The Stomping Ground and Aspen Extreme
Park City Film is partnering with Utah Olympic Park and Dragonfli Media to present the Twilight Drive-In at the Utah Olympic Park, a new drive-in movie series to bring the community together for fun, socially-distant evenings celebrating film. Join us for a fun night out watching films under the stars!
About "The Stomping Grounds" For decades, the pursuit of adventure, deep powder and massive spines has taken professional skiers like Mark Abma and Michelle Parker to the far reaches of the globe. As skiers, the desire to seek more and to escape is ingrained in our DNA. But that doesnt mean our immediate surroundings dont possess their own special treasures. Presented by Toyota, Matchstick Productions brings to you their newest creation, THE STOMPING GROUNDS.
From a born-and-raised resort in Idaho to the spectacular Lyngen Alps just outside their hometowns in northern Norway, our skiers thrive in whats familiar and find thrills in the unexpected. In the process, they manage to re-discover what is home. And home delivers in spades.
THE STOMPING GROUNDS features veterans and newcomers alike from the ski movie world;
About "Aspen Extreme" This is a classic 1993 film about two ski buddies, TJ Burke (Paul Gross) and Dexter Rutecki (Peter Berg), who move from Brighton, Michigan to Aspen to seek a better life. The two friends quickly become Aspen ski instructors, but women, drugs, and job troubles threaten to destroy their relationship. Along the way, TJ tries to realize his dream of becoming a professional writer, and the pair train for the upcoming Powder 8 ski competition.
