Chrysalis is:
- A space to promote black womens health, healing and transformation - A space to pause and come up for air after dealing with the Twin Pandemics of Covid-19 & systemic racism - A virtual healing circle
How are our families and communities faring in 2021? How can we attend to our own physical, emotional and spiritual healing while continuing to care for others? How can we cope with our own grief and loss? How do we protect our children? What are our aspirations for the future? Chrysalis is a virtual experience intended for black women and other women of color.* Please invite your friends! The retreat will include a keynote speech by Dr. LaVonne E. Ansari, PhD, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. & a workshop - Love Her (Self) Today facilitated by D. Magrini, Director of External Training at Whitman-Walker Health Center.
