Fujita Hiroko - "Waku Waku Story Time" and WS (Japanese language)
Fujita Hiroko grew up in the rural, mountainous region of Japan, where she absorbed wonderful country folktales handed down to her by her parents and grandparents in the traditional Japanese oral tradition.
She has made this storytelling tradition into an art form all her own and she has delighted many audiences in Japan and around the world. The vivid gestures and enchanting sounds of her stories cross all language barriersge.
On one of her last trips outside Japan, she has chosen Seattle to present these stories. Don't miss this rare opportunity to watch a unique tradition given by a truly gifted storyteller. Bring your friends, children, and neighbors!
