Learn how decentralized methods of mechanical and biological filtration as well as passive solar distillation can be use to clean waste water and certain grades of unclean water to use in your garden, office or neighborhood. See examples of smaller to larger scale projects that reflect a wide range of budgets and needs. We will build a small constructed wetland system on the hands-on portion of the class.
This workshop is only open to present and past participants of The Huntington Botanical Gardens "Train - the - Trainer" and "Growing Your Green Thumb" Programs.
