Experts and Insights: MCC Faculty Speaker Series- May 19, 2022
Join us when MCC's faculty Garrett Beier presents "The Importance of Native Plants in the Landscape" on May 19, 2022.
There has been a growing interest in using native plants in the managed landscape. Find out why it is so important for you to include some in your backyard. From pollinators to genetic diversity, we will discuss the benefits of incorporating natives into your landscape.
**The event will be held in-person only. The presentation will be recorded and uploaded to www.mchenry.edu/experts**
Effective Monday, February 28, MCC will no longer require masks/face coverings to be worn on campus. However, while we are lifting this mask requirement, in alignment with the Governors recommendation, mask-wearing will still be encouraged, and respected, for those individuals choosing to continue this health and safety practice. MCC also strongly advises our event attendees and individuals in crowded classrooms or highly populated areas of campus to continue wearing a mask when there is difficulty distancing.
If you need an accommodation or a sign language interpreter, please contact MCCs Access and Disability Services department at (815) 455-8766 or disabilityservices@mchenry.edu.
