Comedian Insane Wayne Headlines Reno Tahoe Comedy at Napa Sonoma South in Reno, NV
Insane Wayne will be replacing Ron Josol as the headliner on September 15th at Napa Sonoma South in Reno. He is one of the hottest comics in the western hemisphere. During his college years he was the king of playing the dozens (capping). Soon he was challenged by friends to bring his talent to the stage. Insane Wayne is a natural on stage. His talents have allowed him to travel the country and share the stage with well-known comedians such as DL Hughley, Katt Williams, Lunells and Lavell Crawford, just to name a few. In 2004 Insane Wayne suffered an injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down. He quickly recovered and began doing stand-up comedy from a sit-down perspective. Insane Wayne has distinguished himself as a comedian by winning the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition, the Black Expo and the Central Valley Comedy Competition. He was a runner up on Shaq All-Stars and also appeared on Kevin Harts Hart of the City and Nick Cannon Wild n Out. Insane Wayne is also a mentor to new and upcoming comics. Hosting the show is comedian Saul Trujillo of Amazons Laugh After Dark. Saul is a child-like man ready to light up any room with his awkward energy. Growing up in the city of Stockton wasn't easy, but it gave him the thick skin needed for any situation on and off the stage. A winner of Sacramento Comedy Competition, Saul uses obscure observations on his own life that will keep you scratching your head and laughing at the same time.
Napa-Sonoma South offers a full bar with no drink minimum and nightly drink specials. With wall-to-wall bottles of wine, Napa South is the perfect location for a night out. We also have fully stocked bars, specialty cocktails, and assorted beers for your enjoyment. No food is served or allowed in the show room but come enjoy a great dinner before the show!
