25th Anniversary Celebration

Franconia Sculpture Park is turning 25 and celebrating in high art and high fashion on September 25th, 2021 with our largest community event to date! Please join Franconia staff, board and our 2021 Artists-in-Residence for a full-day program looking back on a milestone year highlighting the intersection of art and ecology and our 2021 Curatorial theme of Authority & Visibility in Public Space. Parking during the event is $5/car and all events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.*

11am-9pm: The Elm Tree Story Booth
11am-1pm: BioQuest with the University of Minnesota
2pm-3pm: Tour of new 2021 sculptures by Franconias Executive Director & Chief Curator
3pm-4pm: Meet and Greet with 2021 Artists-in-Residence
4pm-6pm: Opening Reception for After, Other, and Before in the Mardag Gallery at Franconia Commons
5pm-6pm: Opening Reception for FSP Artist Billboard Project with Yasmeenah Sideak
6pm-7pm: NUR-D in Franconias Amphitheatre*
7:30pm-8pm: Uselding Fridays Fashion Show by Joshua McGarvey in Franconia Commons*
8:00pm-9:00pm: Video Installations and DJs

Parking $5/car
Food Trucks on-site during event: Burro Loco, The Great Panini, and Fro Yo Soul
Beverages will be available for purchase, including beer by Lake Monster Brewing and wine from Alexis Bailly Vineyards
