In the Bones - A mask workshop without masks
In The Bones Improvised mask skills without masks
Mask improvisation is all about taking away our natural creative defences allowing ourselves to find characters we did not know we had inside of us. Masks also allow us to see and experience our scenes in new ways. We see objects differently, see other characters differently, and we react to it naturally.
What if we want all the best learning from a mask workshop, but without the masks??
To answer that question we have developed a workshop that allows us to get In the Bones of our characters and In the Bones of our scenes just like a mask would. A brand new workshop from Open Heart Theatre that will give you new tools to improve your presence, your curiosity, and give you a new perspective
Will Steele and Alex Fradera have taught and performed improvisation and Mask throughout the world. They are founders and co-directors of Open Heart Theatre they wanted to share their passion that improv can be poetic, dramatic and emotional as well as funny, anarchic and highly entertaining.
Covid safety:
As distancing will be difficult to maintain in this workshop we are requesting that participants have either proof of vaccination or a negative lateral flow test. If there are any issues with this let us know.
