DOZYNKI - Zabawa
The Polish tradition of Dozynki is to celebrate and give thanks for the harvest season! The wreath is a central feature of most celebrations associated with Dozynki, as it symbolizes a rich harvest, the prospect of wealth and the power of new life vested in the grain gathered during the summer. Dozynki in Portland will feature folk-dance performances as well as live music and dancing with our local (brand new!) band ZABAVVA. A delicious traditional dinner composed of pierogis, bigos and kielbasa will be served. Polish Beer and Wine will be available for purchase at the bar.
This will be our first event since the beginning of COVID-19 outbreak. Since we decided to postpone our Polish Festival until next year, we would love to offer an opportunity to bring our community together for a smaller gathering celebrating our Polish heritage. We wholeheartedly invite you to join us to celebrate!
Ticket Price: $20+ service charge (Includes a traditional Polish dinner composed of pierogi, bigos, kielbasa, dessert and a bottle of water). Live Music with ZABAVVA, DJ Andrzej, and folk dance performances. *Wine and Polish Beer will be available for purchase at the bar.
*The organizers will follow the Multnomah County event guidelines and will require masks if such a mandate will be in effect.
