A Very Merry Holiday Show

Join popular jazz vocalist Sam Fazio accompanied by Chris White as he performs a wide variety of traditional holiday favorites including: Marshmallow World, I'll Be Home For Christmas and A Christmas Song.

Chicago native Sam Fazio returned to the music scene in 2009 after having earned his Masters Degree in Gerontology and and his PhD in Developmental Psychology - and has been making an impact ever since. Sam's style is reminiscent of classic singers like Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. He can currently be scene in venues such as the Coq D'Or, Davenports and Katerina's. Rick Kogan says "...he is a singer of great gifts and sure charm"

Jack Zimmerman returns to Oil Lamp to share some holiday stories after his successful appearance this summer with Crossing Iowa. Jack has worked as a parking-lot attendant, greenhouse laborer, dock hand, trombonist, college instructor, nightwatchman, piano tuner, newspaper columnist, magazine editor, and PR man. He's written a couple of novels, 2,300 newspaper columns, and has told stories his entire life. He's the 2012 recipient of the Helen Coburn Meier and Tim Meier Arts Achievement Award and currently works as Lyric Opera's subscriber relations manager.

We will have story telling, holiday cookies and decorations and an audience sing along!!
