Linda Ronstadt
Linda Ronstadt is a rare artist who could sing in a wide variety of genres, including pop, rock, country, Broadway, opera, Big Band, and world music. Her voice had unparalleled variety and range. She was the most popular female singer of the 1970's, selling internationally gold, platinum, and multiplatinum albums, while winning numerous awards. Ronstadt recently retired due to a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. Luckily, many of her greatest performances have been captured on film and video. This one-night-only celebration of Linda Ronstadt will be drawn from live concerts, promos, and television appearances. Some of the highlights will include "You're No Good," "Blue Bayou," "Long, Long Time," "It's So Easy," "That Will Be the Day," and many more. The program will showcase Ronstadt from her first major hit with Mike Nesmith's "Different Drum" to her collaborations with the Eagles, Jackson Browne, Emmy Lou Harris, Aaron Neville, Dolly Parton, and many more. Just recently, Ronstadt was nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. No Linda Ronstadt fan will want to miss this amazing night of great music
