Viennese Nights: A Victorian Ball
Dance to the music of the Strauss family and others of the 19th Century, as we recreate a magical evening of waltz and other historic dances. Music by the Grand Pacific Waltz Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Joe Dyke. We're in the wonderful historic Balboa Park Club in Balboa Park, San Diego: a 12,000sf dancefloor, one of the largest in California. Our dance mistress is the terrific Joan Walton of San Jose.
Special 2 hour "survival waltz" class in the afternoon, $20per person at the door only. Class taught by Joan Walton, and also in the ballroom.
