Ken Lonnquist and Friends present "Old Befana." Old Befana is a musical-story based on an ancient holiday tradition. It's warmth and magic are a recipe for enchantment, stirring listeners of all ages with an illuminating spin on that familiar night of miracles, it's three Kings, bright shining star, and a very special child. Befana doesn't know whether the child coming to make the world a better place is rich or poor, black or white, a boy or a girl. "Anyone could be the one to make a better world," Befana sings.
"It could even be...you!"
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit ongoing restoration efforts at Mineral Point Opera House and the Shake Rag Alley Quonset Hut Renovation Project,
