Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center's annual ReVIEWING Black Mountain College is presented in partnership with University of North Carolina Asheville. The international conference explores BMC's history and preserves its legacy by presenting the work of contemporary scholars, cultural thinkers, and art appreciators who offer new insights into the college's life. The three-day program, 11/12 - 11/14, includes a full schedule of speakers, panels, workshops, and performances and is open to the public. Most conference activities will take place on the UNC Asheville campus at the Reuter Center.
A public reception will be held at BMCM+AC 11/12 after the conclusion of the first day of conference events and will include the world premiere of Waves and Particles, a new composition by John Luther Adams, performed by the JACK Quartet. Admission is free with ReVIEWING full or day pass.
