Old Hollywood: The History of Film in Pasadena
World-renowned film historian Marc Wanamaker presents a lecture on "Old Hollywood," the history of film and its relation to Pasadena, in conjunction with the Pasadena Film Festival (www.pasadenafilmfestival.org). The Museum's grounds earned a reputation as a location for filming as early as 1912, when legendary director D.W. Griffith used the Fenyes Estate Garden as the location for "When Kings Were the Law." A wine and cheese reception is included with the lecture.
