Los Angeles Early Aviation Lecture
Join two aviation historians as they discuss the marvels of early flight. Fred Culick, co-author of On "Great White Wings: The Wright Brothers and the Race for Flight," will speak about the development of manned flight, both abroad and in the United States. Kenneth Pauley, author of "Images of Aviation: The 1910 LA International Aviation Meet," will follow with a discussion of the Air Meet at Dominguez Hills and its impact on aviation in Southern California. A wine and cheese reception is included with the lecture.
