Garden designer and food forager Nance Klehm will explore the role of edible wild plants in sustainable urban agriculture. Using the Huntington Ranch Project as an outdoor classroom, participants will learn how "spontaneous" vegetation builds healthy soil, creates habitat, and provides new tastes to experience. The workshop will include a light snack prepared with foraged foods. Come Rain or shine.
