The incomparable pianist Jeremy Denk joins the celebrated Takács Quartet for an evening to remember! Robert Schumann's lively and spirited Piano Quintet. Artistic Directors James Garlick and Richard O'Neill open the evening with Johan Halvorsen's dynamic Sarabande for Violin and Viola.

Note: Pianist Orion Weiss, originally scheduled on this program, had to withdraw and will not be appearing. We are pleased that Jeremy Denk and the Takács Quartet stepped in on short notice. The charismatic Orion Weiss takes center stage for an evening of high-octane duo sonatas with Artistic Directors James Garlick and Richard ONeill. Rachmaninov's G minor sonata is a tour de force you wont want to miss.
NOTE TO ATTENDEES: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we will only be allowing fully-vaccinated individuals into the small and intimate Maier Hall at Peninsula College. Though we do not currently plan to check vaccination cards for entry, we highly recommend you bring yours should circumstances or local regulations change.
