Lasky-DeMille Centennial Brunch & Walking Tour
Please join Hollywood Heritage for a special brunch at the Lasky-DeMille Barn on Saturday, December 14th. The catered meal will be presented by Grub Restaurant as part of the Lasky-DeMille centennial celebration. Jesse L. Lasky and Cecil B. DeMille formed their production company in December, 1913, in what is now the Hollywood Heritage Museum building.
Following the brunch, Hollywood Heritage's own George Kiel will be taking participants on a guided tour down Highland Avenue to the Egyptian Theatre. The American Cinematheque will be presenting a rare screening of the epic 1949 film "Samson & Delilah" directed by Cecil B. DeMille. The full schedule is as follows:
11:30AM - 1:30PM - Brunch will be served at the museum. 1:30PM - 2:15PM - Walking tour to the Egyptian Theater 2:30PM - 4:45PM - Screening of "Samson & Delilah"
Tickets for the brunch and tour can be purchased here on Brown Paper Tickets for $13. Hollywood Heritage members can purchase tickets for the movie at the door or online for $7. Regular American Cinematheque ticket prices apply for non-members. All movie tickets will be pre-sold at www.fandango.com.
