Tacoma School Board Business Meeting June 24, 2021
The Tacoma School Board of Directors has scheduled its only June 2021 business meeting for Thursday, June 24 at 6 p.m.
Public comment for those who wish to address the School Board will be taken in person during the meeting. If you want to address the Board, you must reserve your seat through this platform. The June 24 business meeting includes a public hearing on the 2021-2022 school year budget. Those who wish to testify during the public hearing must reserve a ticket through this site.
For maximum health and safety, we encourage all those who don't want to make public comment to watch the Board meeting livestreamed on our website, Facebook page or cable TV channel 25 or 26 in Tacoma.
Pierce County is in Phase 3 of COVID Recovery. Some COVID-19 restrictions remain in place, including:
- All attendees must wear a mask at all times.
- All attendees must remain at least six feet apart during the meeting.
- All attendees must complete a health survey attesting that they do not have COVID-19 symptoms, have not been exposed to COVID-19 nor are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test.
To meet the six-foot social distancing requirement in the Auditorium at the Central Administration Building, attendance for members of the public, seating is limited for guests and members of the public for the June 24 meeting.
