PERMACULTURE PRINCIPLES TOUR

All the worlds problems can be solved in a garden! Come and see how. We have a wonderful opportunity to explore the beautiful Abbey Physic Community Gardens, part of the LAND permaculture demonstration network and learn about Permaculture thinking.

In this Mini introduction to Permaculture we will take a tour of the garden through Permaculture eyes. We will forage, connect to nature, experience different parts of this wonderful wellbeing Garden.

Permaculture principles are, nuggets of natural system wisdom which can be applied to designing ethical solutions for any problems. See how the challenging issues of our time can have Nature based solutions. For example. "Make no waste". In the natural world there is no such thing, in fact the opposite is true! All waste is a resource.

This will be a relaxing walk round the garden with time for questions. We will cover a couple of principles in depth in each session as well as weave in many others.
We passionately believe Permaculture thinking can help redesign our world for all of life and is handy for our everyday living too. Its not just about gardening!
