Synopsis: Akbar, Soori, Mohammed and Hakim, the children of Afghan parents who fled to Iran in the 1980s, have formed a rock band. All they miss now is an opportunity to play live. Despite the danger they will face, they dream of performing in Afghanistan. The Forbidden Strings shows the musical foursome struggling to get themselves heard, and follows them in the run-up to a historic day.

You must pick up all passes and tickets at the Phoenix Film Festival Ticket Center and not the theatre. Our Ticket Center can be found in the set of shops to the east side of the theatre. We are right between Fix 24 and AZ Kebab House.
