Event
Homeschooling Teens: Soldering Workshop
TVCOG member and RPI grad student Casey Goodwin will show students the basics of soldering together metal parts and electronics. The class will include what tools and materials are best to use and safety concerns. Students will get to practice on through-hole boards and will make a soldering station and LED blinking pin to take home. Because there is a materials fee for this class, parents who want to join in (as opposed to just observe) should register themselves as well as their children. IMPORTANT: In addition to registering through Brown Paper Tickets, please email Kathy Ceceri (kathyceceri@gmail.com) so you can be informed of any changes. Please contact Kathy if you have trouble with the online registration system. NOTE: All participants who are not TVCOG members must have a waiver on file for themselves and their children.
