The Takács is joined by their new violist, our very own Richard ONeill, The transcendent Death and the Maiden quartet, one of Schuberts final compositions, is a pillar of the chamber music repertoire, and a signature piece of the Takács Quartet.
Takács Quartet: Edward Dusinberre, violin Harumi Rhodes, violin Richard ONeill, viola András Fejér, cello
Note: Pianist Orion Weiss, originally scheduled on this program, had to withdraw and will not be appearing. We are pleased that Jeremy Denk and the Takács Quartet stepped in on short notice.
