Dar Williams at Roots Revival
Roots Revival is a worship service grounded in Americana/roots-based music featuring Martha Bassett and friends. We meet at Centenary United Methodist Church in downtown Winston-Salem, NC, on Wednesday evenings.
Roots Revival Stage is our concert series, where we bring in national-level performing artists whose works resonates with us musically and thematically. So far, we have had Rhiannon Giddens of the Carolina Chocolate Drops and singer-songwriter Jonathan Byrd.
On December 4, we welcome Dar Williams. We will hold an abbreviated worship service centered around her song "The Christian and the Pagans," then Dar will offer an hour-long concert.
