EPAD Platform - Wednesday 23 June 2021

Liz Strange, and film-maker Lucas Chih-Peng Kao will use their Platform to test their interactive online bidding show Lockdown Lots, a Zoom-specific, pre-apocalyptic auction game, where viewers can bid absolutely anything they have to compete for the most in-demand items of the day.

Lockdown Lots was conceived during the first lockdown. It developed from an idea about exploring what people really wanted, and what they were willing to give up to get it. Devised by Charmaine Gilbert, Liz Strange, and Lucas Chih-Peng Kao, this performance with EPAD will help bring it up to date for June 2021.

Liz and Lucas are keen to gather feedback from attendees to inform the further development of Lockdown Lots and are looking for a producer who may be able to help them move the project forward.
