Virtual Silicon Valley ACS YCC/Paving the Path Career Panel and Networking

Calling all community college chemistry students! The Silicon Valley Local Section of the American Chemical Society (SVACS) Younger Chemists Committee (YCC) and Paving the Path (PtP) Program are co-hosting a Career Panel and Networking Event targeted just for you on Wednesday, June 2nd from 7-9 pm via Zoom. Our panelists are professionals who, like you, started their higher education journey at a community college. At the start of the event, the panelists will share a bit about themselves and their professional journeys and will answer questions you provide during registration (make sure to type your questions below!) in a moderated discussion. Then they will each host their own breakout room to answer additional questions and connect with you. This is a great time to soup up your resume and your LinkedIn profile so that you're ready to network. See you there!

Although we anticipate offering in-person events in the near-future, this will be virtual event hosted by the Younger Chemists Committee (YCC) of the Silicon Valley local section of the American Chemical Society (SVACS). Recently created and brand new to the SVACS section, this Paving-the-Path (PtP) Career Panel and Networking Event, June 2nd, 7-9 pm (Zoom) is the first event of it's kind, intended to support community college students majoring in chemistry, and with an intention to transfer to a 4-year college.
