3rd Annual RI Women's Choreography Project
This show will feature six short dance films by up-and-coming women choreographers from New England and beyond. The production will showcase inspired works filmed in settings ranging from mountains, to sand dunes, to a city apartment, and more. Each of our dance creators has also had the opportunity to connect with a personal mentor to deepen her creative process this year. Available proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the RIWCP Artist Fund, supporting this year's RIWCP dancers and choreographers whose livelihoods have been affected by the pandemic. Tickets are pay-what-you-can ($5 minimum, $15 suggested).

ABOUT RIWCP:
RIWCP has a dual mission: to foster the creative voices of emerging female-identifying choreographers, and to support the Rhode Island community through partnerships with local nonprofit organizations. We aim to provide a supportive and nurturing platform for artists during their creative process while closing a prevalent gender gap both in the dance world and other communities.
Funding provided in part by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through an appropriation by the Rhode Island General Assembly, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and private funders.
